Imola Racetrack

Racetrack

We are the closest 4-star hotel!

The Enzo and Dino Ferrari Racetrack is the symbol of Imola, made famous worldwide by traditional Formula 1 races.

Its Features

Designed by Checco Costa in 1947, the Imola Enzo and Dino Ferrari Racetrack has a track length of 4.933 km and is 10 to 15 m wide, to be raced counterclockwise at a maximum speed of 330 km/h, under the excited gaze of 36 thousand spectators in the stands.

From afar, the Tower can be recognized, with its 7 above-ground floors, housing conference rooms, various offices, and panoramic terraces from which to view the track: you can see the areas that make up the racetrack, from the closed park to the stage area, where a large stage can be set up for events.

Events

Throughout the year, various events take place, showcasing the track at its best, which also becomes the backdrop for international concerts, stages of the Tour de France, and more.

During a weekend in the first half of September, the circuit is also filled with exhibitors from CRAME, the Vintage Car, Motorcycle, and Bike Show Exchange much appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors.

In the same month, the Racetrack hosts the international Superbike motorcycle race, not to mention the historic events with the 200 Miles.

Finally, it is worth noting that, according to a schedule available on the official Racetrack website, from spring to autumn, the track is available to the public for walking, running, cycling, or skating freely.

Motorsport Passion

If you’re visiting Imola for one of the events at the Racetrack, you might be interested in discovering many other stories related to the world of motorsports that characterize this territory, also known as the “Motor Valley.”

It is an area of Emilia-Romagna renowned worldwide as the beating heart of the high-end automotive and motorcycle industry. A region steeped in history and culture, the birthplace of some of the most prestigious and iconic brands in the sector, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati, and Pagani.

The nickname “Motor Valley” derives not only from the presence of these historic companies but also from an ecosystem that includes motor museums, internationally renowned racetracks (in addition to the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Racetrack, there is also the Misano World Circuit), as well as a wide range of events and initiatives celebrating the passion for speed and engineering innovation.
